Actually, I just want to get started. So, I’ll try to make this first post short and sweet. I’m launching this simple website (using WordPress), with the aim of publicly talking about my interests and projects over the next 10 years. I do this in the spirit of the early internet, where knowledge sharing was one of the cornerstones. The 10 year proclaim makes it not forever, but still a substantial goal/commitment.

The more specific reason for the website is that it challenges myself to write down stories about my interests and come up with analyzes of my projects. I find, that the process it is to tell or explain something in writing, has a positive effect on the exploration of the topics.

For me, writing about something often brings about a clarity, or the process reveal thoughts and paths, otherwise hidden. And I find this to be true, whether writing is done for business or private purposes.

Taking a topic, which is spinning in my head, and writing about it, excels at creating structures in the underlying conversations between gut feeling and the mind. Going a step further, and putting it online, will serve to challenge my “public speaking”, and if I’m somewhat prolific, build up a portfolio, which gives the reader some indication of who I am, and whatever I write could serve to create a meaningful or helpful connection in the future.

I have a huge side project underway (one which still needs a formal launch), but where reinstating my persona online (I left social media years ago), could help in recruiting and meeting the people that the project needs. This website is part of that puzzle, too.

Lastly for this announcement, I would appreciate to be critiqued. English is, after all, not my mother tongue. But also critique on ideas, stories and analysis is much welcome.
